What we started with
This White Rock home looks out over the bay. The homeowner wanted to make more of that view and freshen up the side of the house that takes the weather off the water: new windows and a new patio door facing the bay, both patios resurfaced, and new siding on the sea-facing side.
What we did
- Replaced the old windows and patio door on the view side, including a large new picture window.
- Wrapped the walls in a new weather-resistive barrier, then installed new lap siding, shingle-style siding in the gable and crisp white trim on the sea-facing side.
- Resurfaced both patios.
- Replaced the fascia.
How it turned out
A much bigger window on the view, a clean new face on the side of the house that takes the weather, and two patios ready for years of use. The homeowner has already asked us to spec his next projects.
