Combined Trade Experience
Homeowners with drafty or failing windows, siding that's cracked, rotting or dated, or a door that sticks and leaks.
These jobs are often worth doing together: with the siding off, every window and door opening can be flashed and sealed properly, and you only pay for that work once.
Curious about cost?
The number of windows and doors, frame material, the siding you choose, and what's hiding behind the old cladding all shape the number. Your in-home visit ends with a line-item quote.
Replacing windows and doors in the same openings is the simplest case. Enlarging an opening, adding a new one, or recladding a whole wall can need a building permit, depending on your municipality. We confirm what's required before work starts.
In a strata, windows, doors and siding are usually common property, so strata approval comes first.

Should I replace my siding and windows at the same time?
If both are near the end of their life, usually yes. With the siding off, the window openings can be flashed and sealed properly, and you only pay for that work once.
What affects the cost of replacement windows?
How many windows you're replacing, their size and style, the frame material, and whether openings need repair once the old units come out. Your quote breaks the cost down window by window.
What affects the cost of new siding?
The size of the walls, the siding material, trim details, and any rot found once the old siding comes off, which is quoted separately once we can see it. For more on the costs that only show up mid-project, read Hidden Renovation Costs Nobody Tells You About
How long do new windows take?
Most replacement windows are made to order, so there's a manufacturing lead time before install. Once they arrive, installation is usually quick. We'll give you the expected lead time with your quote.
What does your 10-year warranty cover?
Our workmanship is warrantied for 10 years from completion. If something we built fails because of how it was installed, we come back and make it right. Materials, fixtures and appliances are covered by their manufacturers' warranties, which we pass on to you. Normal wear, damage by others, and later changes by other contractors aren't covered. Your contract spells out the full terms.
