Can you combine exterior work with an interior renovation?
Yes. One point of contact runs the whole project, and we schedule the trades so inside and outside work don't get in each other's way.
When is the best time of year for exterior work?
Drier months are easiest, especially for paving and finishes that need dry weather. A lot of exterior work can still go ahead year-round with planning, and booking in the off-season can get you a better start date.
Do exterior projects need permits?
Some do. Many deck additions need a building permit, and so can enlarging a window opening or recladding a wall. Ground-level patios usually don't. We confirm what your municipality requires before we start and handle the application.
What does your 10-year warranty cover?
Our workmanship is warrantied for 10 years from completion. If something we built fails because of how it was installed, we come back and make it right. Materials, fixtures and appliances are covered by their manufacturers' warranties, which we pass on to you. Normal wear, damage by others, and later changes by other contractors aren't covered. Your contract spells out the full terms.
